Mastering the Call

Talking with prospective clients is a vital skill for business owners. Being effective in this area is crucial to your business success. Most of us don’t really consider ourselves to be in sales – although we all are!

Here’s a simple formula for the call:

  • Find out what they’re doing now
  • Find out where they want to be
  • Show them how you can fill that gap

Sometimes we make things too complicated! All the prospective really wants to know is “Are you the one who can fill the gap between where I am and where I want to be?” Show them how the answer is “Yes!” and you’ll both be celebrating!
