It’s very easy to work within our comfort zone. To never step outside of the safe cocoon we’ve built – whether in our work or our private lives. Did you know, though that if you don’t step outside you will never experience true growth? You will remain status quo.

How do I step outside of my comfort zone? Here are three ways:

  1. Think big! Do you have a big vision for your life? If you’re just thinking about getting through today, or this week, you’re limiting the chances for change.
  2. What is your mindset? Having perspective and a positive attitude will help you not only move forward but have the strength and courage to step outside of your safety net.
  3. Attitude matters. If you have a “can do” attitude, chances are you will achieve your goals. Negativity brings with it a self defeating mindset. Be like The Little Engine That Could… “I think I can. I think I can.” And chances are, you will!
