Write It Down!

Are you like me? Do you walk from one room to the next to get something and when you get there you can’t remember what you came after? If we can’t remember something as simple as that, how are we going to remember our goals? The answer: Write them down.

Create SMART goals, ones that are:

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Action-oriented
  • Realistic
  • Time-related.

It’s been proven by a Harvard study that only 3% of their graduates actually had specific, written goals. That 3% was, of course, the most successful and happiest! Isn’t that were we all aspire to be? After your goals are written down, make sure you post them someplace where you’ll see them and then read them.

There’s a Chinese proverb that says “The palest ink is better than the best memory.”

So write it down!
