Creating Change

Is there something in your life you’d like to change? Maybe it’s a habit you want to break, a new skill you want to develop, or health and Picture2fitness you want to restore. I doubt there is even one of us who are satisfied with all areas of our lives. Change is growth and that’s something we all want; to be constantly improving and getting better.

Think about change like this:

  • Creating new patterns that are lasting, not temporary
  • Using a gradual approach, not all or nothing
  • Focusing on progress, not perfection

Trying to change everything at once is a recipe for disaster, so pick one area and focus on it for 21 days. We all know that’s how long experts say it takes to effect change. They also say what you do in the morning and the evening will have the biggest effect for lasting change, so pay special attention to that. Pace yourself and give yourself the gift of grace. Be persistent and you will see change happen.
