If you’re like me, your work is never all finished. There is always something more to do; one more project or one more email to keep you in the office. Today I’m suggesting you put play in your schedule and make it a priority.

There are serious benefits to play:

• Play or even the anticipation of play can energize you
•  After using your brain one way all day or all week, switch gears so it can rest
• Play is social, fun and uplifting; all of which are good for you

Even if you love your work like I do, it’s okay to love play, too. I have such a full schedule of play this weekend that it will feel good to get back into the office on Monday.

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy and it can to the same to you! Now go out and play!!
